Celebrating trailblazing women

The Embassy and the Society partnered to deliver an incredible celebration of the innovation and influence of women at Te Papa in honour of St Brigid's day. St Brigid's Day, traditionally a pagan festival marking the beginning of spring, was on February 1, and marked a celebration of trailblazing women. Celebrations at Te Papa included traditional Irish dancing, singing, and speeches from remarkable women, while many other remarkable women (including our very own Lilian) were part of the audience.
